How do we Decide?
What Are Some of the Important Decisions I Will Have To Make?
Amplification

Baby GirlWhen we talk about amplification, we are talking about hearing aids. Normally, when a child is found to have a hearing loss, a Pediatric Audiologist who specializes in testing the hearing of infants and children will work with you and your child to help determine whether or not your child might benefit from the use of hearing aids, and if so, which hearing aid might be best for them. Because there are many types and degrees of hearing loss, there are many different types of hearing aids. An experienced Audiologist will be able to help you understand the types of hearing aids that are available, and help to determine which would best suit the needs of your child.
